KELCON

The Kerala state 'A' Grade Electrical Contractors Association (KELCON) was founded in 1981 by professionals accredited by the Government of Kerala to execute all kinds of electrical insatallation jobs. The objective of the association is to inculcate spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie amongst members, assist them to improve and update technical know-how, strive to improve quality while ensuring safety of lives, prorerty and equipments, ensure ethical practices by members in the field of their activities etc.

Achievements

Over the years the Association, through regular interaction with the State Electrical Inspectorate, was instrumental in bringing about many improvements in standards and practices. Kerala can justly be proud of having one of the most quality conscious Electrical Inspectorate ably assisted by the contracting community of the State. Adherence to the standards and practices laid down for ensuring quality and safety has been the way of life for the contracting community in Kerala.
